Our Membership Categories

Regular Members

Regular Members includes employees involved in the operation and maintenance of First Nations water and/or wastewater systems located in Saskatchewan (i.e. Water Systems Operators) and any staff involved in the provision of services related to water and/or wastewater services for First Nations communities and employed by or for a First Nation organization. This does not include provincial organizations with contracts to provide services to First Nations. Regular Members are entitled to vote. Regular membership will commence upon acceptance of an application by the Board of Directors.

 

Associate Members

Associate Members shall be defined as a person from an agency that has an interest in but does not operate or maintain a water and/or wastewater system for a First Nation in Saskatchewan. Associate membership will commence upon acceptance of an application by the Board of Directors and payment of the Associate Membership Fee.

 

Youth Members

Youth Members are young people who want to receive invitations to Annual General Meetings, conferences, and trade shows; SFNWA’s quarterly newsletter; notifications of training and education opportunities, and networking opportunities. It is always free to become a Youth Member if you live in a First Nations community.
